What’s in a Name?

When originally searching for a name, Jim wanted something that communicated vision and insight as well as something that was meaningful to him personally. A classical pianist since the age of four, Jim’s favorite piece of music is Beethoven’s Opus 111, # 32 Piano Sonata in C minor. This second movement of this remarkable last piano Sonata of Beethoven’s, written when Beethoven was completely deaf and just five years before the maestro’s death, is a visionary composition. He takes a very simple, quiet theme and then systematically syncopates it into a vision of ragtime jazz 75 years before ragtime burst on the scene.
