A Seattle native, Donna graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1967 and the University of Puget Sound in 1970 with a Bachelor of Music degree. She went on to teach music in the Highline and Mercer Island School Districts retiring in 2001. At that point, she went to work with her brother, Bill, as administrative assistant. When he moved to Opus 111 Group in 2012, she came along taking on the role of event coordinator.
She enjoys being at her home on the airport in Fall City. The fly-in community gives her opportunities to use her private pilot’s license. Taking after her father, she grows over 100 dahlias and has a large vegetable garden. She is on the board of the Fall City Historical Society and active in the Fall City United Methodist Church where she sings in the choir and plays in the handbell choir. You can find her working crossword puzzles, baking, sewing, and entertaining in her spare time.
